I've struggled putting off music for years because I didn't know how to mix/master my vocals. This video was so informative AND soooo inspiring. You did such great job. I can't wait to test this out!
  • Dude... I do music in garageband but never really sounded pro. I watched this and dedicated the whole day into this song I'm making and it sounds amazing man thank you so much you have no idea how much you've helped.

I made a whole notepad worth of the information lmao. This is the first time I’ve ever studied anything in my entire life.
  • Tip: If your learning this for the first time start off on a blank track and edit raw vocals

The way this guy is breaking down how to do this is extraordinary to me. As someone who has no experience at all in recording he's speaking it in a way where I'm receiving the message and not just telling us about how to do it.

Best video out there. Clear, concise, easy, explanatory & helpful ❤️ you’re a great teacher!

I just watched 3 tutorials where the people literally said "I dont know how this works but it sounds good for me so you should do it" and I was amazed that people with such little info to offer thought they were ina positon to make tutoirals. This video was a blessing !

Tip 1: don’t record into a wall.... oh crap that’s me! 😂😂 Thanks for starting at the beginning.

listen, I've been doing music for about 20 years and have always struggled to find someone via Youtube that could really break down how to mix & master for me. This was amazing & I thank you so much for taking the time to share with us your craft. the hard work paid off. THANK YOU FOR THIS DEAN - so so much.

Your guidance made vocal mixing seem a lot more approachable now. The tips you've dropped here and there really come in handy. Appreciate this a lot, thank you so much!

This was a great tutorial! I immediately went and adjusted all of my vocals on Garageband and you can really tell the difference.

i’ve literally been struggling with mixing for years and this video literally taught me so much in 12 minutes oh my god you have no idea how grateful I am for this thank you so much !!!
  • @FleurSteff
Thank you so much for this video. I've always had a hard time mixing my vocals and I don't know where to start cause most tutorials covers too much. Yours is just clean, clear and straightforward, and very helpful!

This is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen on any topic on YouTube. I am looking forward to checking out the rest of the channel. I appreciate your focus on the most important features. I learned Logic and now that GarageBand has gotten so mature I am looking to use it perhaps exclusively instead of Logic, which I find myself fighting with a lot (mostly because I don’t use it often enough or thoroughly enough to have memorized all of its arcana). I really appreciate tutorials that have just the right amount of depth.
