Hey Jared, that was amazing videography. I live in Woodstock,Ontario. With everything going on globally I was watching Dantes Peak and couldn't help but think of you, I watched you video back when you posted it. How are you doing now? Where abouts are you living?

I know you're still in shock and depressed over what has happened. It is very sudden and shocking and terrible. I can't quite imagine waking up and finding yourself in what appears to be hell. The prudence and dignity of 99.999% of your neighbors has been an inspiration. The heroism and love of neighbor for neighbor and stranger for stranger will not be forgotten. It will be okay. Things can be replaced, lives cannot. I, for one, am grateful that so many lives have been saved, when this could have been so much worse. It will take some time and hard work but you and your town can recover from this disaster. You are not alone in this. The future doesn't have to be bleak. Your generous and loving Canadian neighbors are with you. Your American, British, and Australian friends wish we were there.
  • Hi Jared - My name is Tricia - I'm with The Weather Network and I'm working on a show about the Fort McMurray fires. I was hoping I could get permission to use this video. Also I'd just like to wish you all the best. No matter how chill you are in this video - I'm sure things haven't been easy.
