Aid leaves Cyprus for Gaza to start sea distribution

The U.S. military is dismantling the temporary pier it built to deliver aid to Palestinians in Gaza. But officials say the military will continue to help transfer aid for Gaza from Cyprus to the Israeli port of Ashdod. VOA Pentagon Correspondent Carla Babb reports.

    I assume that the US built that pier without the permission from the government in Gaza.

    I feel so stupid when I think a $200 million pier works for 20 days is good deal.
