I hope you enjoy today's video! I had so much fun making this Gingerbread #house! While this may not be a #baking video, it was an amazing time spending an entire 24 hours #decorating this home from start to finish. I used all of the same tools I use on my baked goods, but spent all of my time focussing on my favorite thing to do... decorations! I cant believe how well this worked out and was completely surprised that my idea was able to come to live.

That looks incredible and beautiful! Kudos to you for all your hard work! This reminds me of a TV show I once saw where some Japanese celebrities made an edible house out of chocolate bricks and other chocolate building materials. It looked pretty sturdy. I wonder if something similar could be done using thick wafer bars for bricks. Not sure what could be used for roof supports though. I guess the roof would just be two solid panels.

I never did anything like this but it would be fun! I found that microwaving the gingerbread house pieces softens them enough to use a cookie cutter, so I used extra squares to make reindeers, trees and other Christmassy things to go with my house. Microwaving them for just like idk 10 seconds or something really helps soften them up

Is there any way you could dip this in some kind of resin and take it out every year as a holiday decoration for the back yard or something?? It just looks so beautiful!! If not; I’d love to see a destroying the gingerbread house video 😂😂

When I was in college ages ago I entered a raffle at my PT job and won a massive chef-created gingerbread house - I needed the help of 5 guys to bring it from the truck into my house! And it was all deliciously edible too! I found out it was all made by hand - literally every last part, and made with the finest ingredients in the world! My starving roommate and I devoured it over the following 3 weeks!!! Yum!
