Calling the sv1 a sportscar is like calling Trump in a tracksuit a sportsman......

you shouldn´t call them forgoten but unknown by younger generations ,has i when in the summer would choose a nice 70´s car to go camping near a beach what surprised me the most was ,as an example a BMW 2002 from 75 restored to the core and when returning to the camping i would see a lot of young boys and girls surrounding my car and the question in all minds was ,this being German boys and girls if that was really a BMW and i even showed him The minimalist dash with all written in deutsch, it was really well designed some things weren´t seen at first sight but also only a round light near the gages that would be the only light to give all info. with diferent shades of red , it happens the same with the never existed early 70´s GTV ,that because no one knows the designation of older cars it´s now a general known Alfa-Romeu model that never existed till 2010, it´s a mix of GTjuniors and GT´s with a choose yourself dash outside lights, but i drove since 72 amongst other cars a GT2000 veloce ,there was also the 1750 and the front grill with two round lights never existed only released around 2010 not early 70´s or even late 60´s as mine was broken by a friend and it took me almost 10 years to get one new or in second hand this with the help of a Italian Alfa-Romeu club that in reality was made of plastic at the time a new material that gave a modern touch to the car with only two round lights not four and the GT is a very low but large and long car that at 200km/hour seems to be at 20km/hour not a vibration in the engine or anywhere else, but now the grills made of metal with two round lights are falling from the trees, check the Alfa-Romeu museum in Italy and you´ll never find such a frankenchrist car, the most i´ve seen are juniors with the back lights and dash of the GT, but in reality there are GTV carved on the back side panels of the body sprint veloce style of design with the R.P.M. counter in front of the metal and wood sportive steering wheel that only was released in 76 and not even close to this new old model from 2010 or around it and all world is fooled by some smart money makers, at start i thought itwas a error in the designation of the old GTA ,known rally car but no it´s a salad of gt and gtjuniors and forgoten sure it was till they appeared in 2010, as i drove my GT2000 till late 90´s as a daily driver and and surprised a lot of younger men at the time is the manual gearbox having 5speeds, there were a lot of old and beaten down Juniors but GT was the only alive in the 90´s or working as any new car but more powerfull and glued to the road as in stability,m the Pantera is a good example of a car no one remenbered it but with the american shows of restoring old cars there it was a DeTomaso Pantera called FORD ,that even i didn´t knew it was sold in the states with the Ford brand

Perhaps they are forgotten for good reason. There was very little “sports” in these cars. Many were actually very unattractive and poorly built. The exception may be the AC 428427. That car was a decent car, great handling and build quality pretty good for cars of the day. It had the styling of the Maserati with a bullet proof Ford engine. The Monteverdi had promise but never seem to catch on after the press lambasted it

JS2 looks like a Muira ripoff

Hey man! I'm interested in a Collaboration.
  • Maybe these cars failed to sell, because people prefer bigger wheels...
