Come on people over 40. Some of us keep saying R&B dead and dwelling on music from our generation. I am guilty. Let’s support this young lady because she is talented and her performance was authentic. She has written songs for other artists and she can SANG too!!!

The raw talent. The genuine love for her craft shines through. She’s is giving what artist performance once was before it turned into sideshow. This takes me back to a time when R&B ruled. I’m officially a fan.

She did that to the best of her ability. What alot of people don’t know is she suffers from Lupus which makes her vocals hoarse that why she sounded like that it wasn’t her being nervous…

I literally smiled the ENTIRE performance…if y’all didn’t know before y’all know now, Miss Muni Long is the REAL DEAL with those vocals…the fact she effortlessly did this and still made an impact…STANDING OVATION !! I absolutely loved that she was over there just singing, lot of times people push singers to dance, sing, juggle, do some magic and a lot of crazy things. She was over there pretty, singing flawlessly and delivered a perfect performance.

I looked for this because I didn't watch the BET Awards and someone said she sounded horrible. Where? She sounded amazing and her performance and set up, even dress were all elegant, beautiful and excellent. She sang great to me and I even liked the stage version of her song. Gave it a different flavor since we hear her song so much, which isn't a bad thing. Great job, Muni!!!!!!
