Listening to this song but with an actively working, theorizing brain makes the lyrics hit in a different way. Especially when you realize that at first they were happy to commit the hour of joy but, after having 10 years to reflect on what they had done caused them to to be eaten alive with guilt and regret of their own. But the saddest part is realizing that in the end, CatNap/Theo realized that the prototype, the one who saved him and risked being captured to take him to the adults, his savior, his God- Was a heretic all along, a fraud and an illusion all wrapped up in the hopes of freedom, but THEIR freedom, the other toys and the childrens freedom, was NEVER the plan according to 1006, only his own freedom is what he truly wanted.

The Protoype...after hearing the lore, i thought to myself, "hey, maybe we are the bad guys". But now that i think about it, the monsters are just being used, sacrificed in order to help The Claw. The Prototype is a creepy entity, as well as this music giving me the chills......
