On this Christmas morning 2023, as the world still struggles with wars , please remember our grandfathers & great grandfathers that were in those trenches. Celebrate the true prince of peace

  • I listen to this group a lot, love everything they do—their voices, their humor, their individual styles and blending, and their song choices, but I sure miss George and others when they leave. Was so saddened to learn George had passed.

A line I remember from a 1980's sci-fi movie: "Our governments are enemies. WE are not." For just a little while, those young men remembered that.
  • I love all of your music over years with all members past and present goegre went way to soon hope he singing his heavenly music now he is in heaven god bless you all
  • I am from the Netherlands and am 63 years old. Until recently I didn't know this brilliant group of singers. I'm glad to have discovered them now. A true event wrapped in a brilliant song. It shows once again the madness of war and violence. Millions of families torn apart. Boys of barely 20 who don't know each other are ordered by "higher" assholes to kill each other and for what? A little extra power? A little extra land? Madness at its finest. I am a sentimental man and also very nostalgic. Some songs and also Christmas carols can touch my soul. This song: purity, melody, execution, accompaniment, the different voices, just heavenly. In my opinion, this is one of the best Christmas songs ever.

R.I.P. George. Celtic Thunder just hasn't been the same since you left this world 😢
