I absolutely love it. My mother was born in 1935 and we played this music for her all the time. She passed away Oct 29th 2023 to Alzheimers. She didn't know who we were, but she knew the lyrics to music. RIP my beautiful mother.

My Grandma told my Uncle Mike she didn’t want him to go out every Saturday night with the Italian barber from Canonsburg Pa. Theyd go to the clubs, dance and the young barber would sing. uncle Mike had to get up early and work on the farm. Wonder what ever happened to that young barber, Perry Como

My parents kind of music. My dad was born in 1916 and my mom in 1934. There is some kind elegance in these tunes. You can just imagine ladies in feminine dresses and men in suits.
  • @Sabijans
I've got a newborn here that smiled a big joyous smile when I put this music on.

Keep playing the classics, please. I was born in 1986, but I love the old school music. I play this stuff when I'm cooking, and my family and I have an awesome time.
  • My parents got married a couple of years after WWII. I was born in Argentina to a Romanian-Austrian family. My mother explained my passion for this music: she used to go to the movies and I heard it right from the very start... I mean THE VERY START!!! before I was even born!

My Body was born in 1972 but I’m a 1920’s -1930’s Style & Soul …. From Top to Toe swinging to these Classy Elegant Melodies 🎺🎷👯‍♀️ Charleston & Josephine Baker Remembering My Grandfather in the colonial days in West Africa 1920 listening to his Gramophone
  • I’ve always loved vintage music. I also love all the old movies, the comedies and the musicals, especially the Ginger and Fred movies. They were incredible together! I’m a baby boomer, born in 1960. But I’ve always felt like I was born in the wrong decade. I’m so glad I had my 2 grandmothers, they’d tell me what life was like when they were kids, and also during WW2. My dad was born in 1936,my mom in 1934. They too told me what growing up was like then for them.
  • My mother was born in 24 so i listened to a lot of old music. I was born in 41 guess that I'm qualified as nostalgic listener.
  • @Mia_1941
I am in my 50's and I'll take this music any day compared to the loud sounds of today for sure.
  • @user-yo1wv3ok6p
I was born in 89’ and to be quite honest I’d much rather prefer this music I love it 🤍
  • @erikachapman5808
My dad was born in '32 & I came along '68. This kind of music is wired into you from the beginning ❤ I have a son born in '97 who loves this music too❤ It is the best music from a Wonderful time. Thank you for this channel!

Maybe it's stupid of me to write this, but this music somehow has something of peace and serenity about it. So much time hasn't passed yet and look at this digital, cold, crazy world today.....And I think of my grandpa who was born in 1905, he would be in for a shock if he were brought back to this time. Who knows what will happen in the next 100 years.... Everything will probably be gone, EVERYTHING, so I'm not worried about humans managing that :(
  • @sandrawhite2186
Love this old stuff. I was born in 54 but got my love for this era from my mum, and working in aged care. Now I'm retired I love dancing and singing, still perform for the oldies in care.

I feel sometimes like I was born in the wrong era. If I had a time machine, I'd love to go back in time to the 1920s-1930s. It was such a revolutionary time. The liberation of women, the flapper girls, the amazing art deco style buildings and decor, the silent movies, the gramophones, the cars, the airplanes, the fashion and glamour, it must have been so incredibly exciting. Unfortunately, the great depression came soon after. But that's how life is, a roller coaster full of ups and downs. We got the wonderful music to enjoy and dream. Swell vintage music upload, thank you. 💋💋💖💜💙💛♥ 🎼🎵🎶🎺🥁👯 🎼🎵🎶🎺🥁👯💋💋
  • Reminds me so much of being at grandmas house! Saturday afternoons were always warm, full of love and home baking smells. ❤️❤️❤️ Grandma would be 120years old now
