The British perhaps didn't make the world's most powerful locomotives. But they sure as hell made the best looking ones

This is a masterpiece. Thank you for filming this. PS to those who think this is Gordon, you’re not correct. Gordon is based of a Gresley A1 prototype, but no evidence suggests that it existed. He’s not even an A3!

You really nailed it today, Allan! great footage, variety of angles and shots ( but no boots!) Looks as if the McKever family had a great day with a double billing of steam at York. Thanks to both of you for the videos. :)

I once saw this at York station a few years ago on my weekly commute from Edinburgh to Sheffield. Magnificent beast - made me glad that I didn't catch the through train and had to change at York.
-
Yet another masterpiece. Nice to see Tornado in action. Clearly keen to get going to Scarborough, perhaps for an ice cream.
-

-
Great close ups of Tornado Allan as it stood at the platform and nice to see you and your friends at the station....Trevor.''

Nice clip. Many thanks

Another beauty for an engine Allen. Really phenomenal reviving a class that was extinct due to the modernisation plan of the 1950s
