Our Newest Lecture Series:
The Original Church: Lectures on the Acts of the Apostles by Father Josiah Trenham.

The Acts was written by the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke, as the 2nd part of his great literary masterpiece setting forth the Life of Jesus Christ in his Gospel, and then in the Acts showing forth the new Christian life made possible by the Lord’s great and saving deeds and the descent of the Holy Spirit. Here in these sacred pages we discover what St. Paul calls “new creation in Christ.”

Here we discover what is the birth-right of Christians – that is the continuous miracle of church life. Lecture titles are as follows:

Lecture #1 The Meaning of the Acts

Lecture #2 Pentecost

Lecture #3 Spiritual Life

Lecture #4 Fellowship

Lecture #5 Martyrdom

Lecture #6 Conversion

Lecture #7 Defending the Faith: The Jerusalem Council

Lecture #8 The Missionary Journeys of St. Paul

If anyone listening thinks, oh i know so and so better take this brilliant message to heart…. No… we must go look in the mirror! What does this say to each one of us… we all have things to repent and detach from!

Pride is the sickness of Christendom. This is just as true of Christianity as Judaism. Bow before the Father. Cry tears of repentance. Thank you for this message.

I always assumed that the “brood of vipers” John The Baptist was referring to were the Pharisees and teachers of the law, but he was calling his own people out to be humble and to repent mindblown Never heard these passages broken down so well, thank you Father Josiah, you’re a real one

Thank you, Father, for this timely teaching! We ought to be minding our own thoughts and behaviors. I have to laugh at the gong at the end. I used to watch The Gong Show growing up, and caught the reference. LOL
