Adam Lambert - Holding Out for a Hero (Music Video)

This man is in another realm when it comes to talent on so many levels. His voice and the way he uses it is unmatched. No, he's not 27 yo skinny Adam, he's a middle aged man who has lived a life being judged. He is still exceptionally handsome and lives his life trying to encourage everyone to accept who they are and live their best life. "Be your own hero". You get that message in so many of his songs. Just stop judging and appreciate his given talents, which are many, especially from his heart. UPDATE: Have you seen him lately. Looking awesome and slim. Almost looks 27 again! Voice is still incredible and his music is only getting better with age. Still unmatched as far as talent goes.

I kind of interpret it in another way. I am a 19 year old woman paralyzed from the hip down since I am 17. This song is a motivitional booster on the one hand, but on the other hand it teachs me that it does not matter if people accept my half - functional body as long as I do. Recently I came to rehab with this song in my ears and earned some confused looks by singing it quietly to myself and looked up to the top. But than someone said: "You are an Adam Lambert fan? My favourite song is ghosttown." 63 year old dude in a wheelchair, a former biker, pretty cool. And we only united that day cause he regonized the song. We are pretty strange duo, aren't we? A little puppet of a human next to a rocker with tattoos and two heads taller. But people should listen to Adam and never judge what's inside from the outside. So, in conclusion, I not only gained some self confidence but a new friend as well.

We all know he was robbed of the American Idol title, but he showed them. Even after that he still is there for appearances and mentorship of contestants. He is my favorite male Idol.

What I love about him is he doesn’t rely on sex and vulgarity like Sam smith and other gay artists to sell albums HES JUST SINGING AND PUTTING OUT GREAT MUSIC PERIOD

He’s a genius talent and I don’t get why they don’t play his music on the radio instead of the crap they play. He needs to be a lot more appreciated!!! I could be his mom but I adore him!!

There are bad singers, good singers, fantastic singers - and there is Adam Lambert. A league of his own. Unbelievable, this voice and intensity. 💜💜

HOLY SHIT!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’ve been obsessed with this guy since American Idol! I quit watching the show after he didn’t win, and yet it was a good thing because he wasn’t held down with a contract with them! He was able to go on and create incredible music!!

This gave me chills. Adam is so inspirational in the way he is unapologetically himself and always has been true to himself. And his talent is on another level. I wish nothing but the best for this man 🙌

After all of Adams's success in everything he did from dropping successful albums to touring with Quee, to being on glee and outselling by 1000xs the winner of American idol I wonder if the judges regret their life choices. His style, texture, and tone are iconic and you can pick his voice out almost instantly. It's awesome to hear him sing. Cause his voice is so textural and unique. Amazing cover Adam, you elevated the song and made it sound modern. ❤️

I was his biggest cheerleader when he was on American Idol. He deserves to be enjoying greatness! He’s so gifted and an amazing good guy!!

He has one of the most amazing voices that most artist cannot compare to.

Adam is EVERYTHING! Now that I've watched it more than is healthy, can we also give props to the casting person and the fabulous backup cast! They're giving just the perfect amount of energy and spice. Love the smile the 'drummer' gives after the helmet reveal.

Adam could sing anything and I would love it, no one like him in the business...iconic!!!💕
