Sora is a great choice as a main character for one thing that many don’t talk about. As kids, we usually imagine ourselves in adventures with the characters we grew up with. Sora is the template for our inner kid going on incredible stories and being with our friends.

Definitely glad they didn’t make a Disney character a protagonist. I love Disney. I grew up with it and still love watching the old and new movies. But I completely understand that Disney is the part of Kingdom Hearts that fans just bear with most of the time.
