Amazon’s Fallout is really good

I wasn’t going to watch Fallout as I thought it might be the same tired, CGI heavy, derivative nonsense that I couldn’t engage with. Well, I did watch it, and although Fallout wasn’t perfect, I was pleasantly surprised!

Thanks for telling me about this apocalyptic drama; it’s just what I needed atm. I’m halfway through the series. Although I’ve found it a little slow in parts, it quite cleverly portrays the feeling of claustrophobia that real life sometimes tars us with. Perhaps the intention was for it to be slow at the outset to add to the heaviness of the unfolding story. It’s a little different to my usual zombie/end of world favourites and has a kill bill’ esqueness to it. I’ll try to stick with it; time will tell. I’ve got my eye on ‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ series next but whether I’ll have time is another matter. Thought you might be interested. I liked your review, it was considered & profound. You may have found your niche. ‘Perhaps humans can find hope in this mean old world!’

I certainly didn’t expect this ‘review’ well overview at least of the true reasons perhaps so many people I know are raving about this series. All the points you highlight make sense as to why it’s so captivating. It seems these characters resonate with us perfectly re emotions, morals etc even though I understand it’s fantastical. Isn’t it the good and the bad ( well not overly bad ) challenges and our purpose and everything in between that makes us more interesting and unique. I don’t have prime but maybe this may spur me on to subscribe? Sounds good 👌🙏 for sharing … I may be £8.99 per month worse off now 🤔😊😉
