its pretty cool that they included a tie bomber in the imperial gonk droid set
  • @edenreyes4747
I think they should use the Y-wing bombing mechanism instead of pushing the flick fire missile

Tbf I understand the choice for Sloane's uniform since she doesn't become a Grand Admiral until the Aftermath books (post ROTJ). But I do think they could have gone for a more accurate hair piece with a bit of white paint to represent her white lock of hair. Vader's new head reminds me of the Emperor's first face.

“The 2023 TIE Bomber, now featuring adaptive cruise control and best-in-class towing capacity”
  • I was thrilled when I saw that the Tie Bomber was finally making a comeback! I have been wanting to get one for so long now! After your review I will definitely be buying this! The price is great, no stickers and a bunch of printed parts is FANTASTIC! It is a little small, but I love it all the same! Thanks for the great review and I am looking forward to seeing the next one!

Fantastic set in my opinion, a good video idea would be to modify this set to make it Vader’s Tie Advanced, you even get the Vader figure! Thanks for the review 👍
  • @samkerr6029
This Vader comes with a nice soft cloth cape where as the Vader in the duel set from Kenobi had a stiff cape. I highly prefer the capes with soft fabric.
  • This set is so damn cool, man! I plan on getting at least two of this set for my Imperial Navy! BTW David, this set is meant to be in the same scale as the 2021 TIE Fighter. That's why it's rather small compared to the 2012-2018 TIEs.
  • Idk why Gonks should get a molded piece. It doesn't make sense to me. The brick build ones look more than good enough. I don't know how a molded one would do anything better.
  • You know what would be fun to see? A new version of the Twilight, that one ship that Anakin stole and used throughout the clone wars show. Last time we got it was all the way back in 2008.
  • Dang this set looks really well done! I wish that cockpit piece was transparent/not closed off though
  • Didn't expect Sloanes appearance here! Love that Aftermath is given some more love, I hope to see more of her in the canon.

Always love your reviews, David! Thank you for inspiring me 😀
  • This was my favourite set so far in 2023 and the no stickers is just the icing to this awesome Lego set
  • Looks amazing! I hope we get a TIE interceptor at the same level of detail and scale
  • There has been a lot of reviews on this but I picked your video because you’re my favourite YouTuber :)
  • The OG tie-bomber was my first ever Lego set - definitely gonna get this one because of that
  • When I saw rumours and set pictures I thought Darth Vader wouldn't have arm printing but now looking at this review , I am shocked . And this makes me want to get this set even more .
  • I'm definitely buying this when it comes out. I'm also glad vader has one of those softer capes this time
