My Uncle was in the US Army band. As a kid we use to go see him perform in Washington D.C. back in the 70's and 80's. He was very talented. Played multiple instruments and sang in the choir, he even performed with top R&B groups of the day as a musician and backup singer. It wasnt until I was an adult and in the Army myself that I found out he was a freakin Special Forces Green Beret and did 3 tours in Vietnam! I had known he had been in the war but not that. Now hes in Arlington and I still miss him 30 years later.
