It's sad that Devon and Meagan split up, but I don't think their marriage was in vain. They fulfilled an important assignment. They promoted celibacy and self-love, which helped a lot of people who were struggling. So even though their relationship didn't last it was still purposeful. I'm sure they learned a lot in their marriage and they will take those lessons with them as they move forward.

Let me sit this right here. I’ve been married for over 13yrs. Nothing about our marriage is perfect or happy 100% of the time, yet he remains mine and I am his. Please get it out of you minds that there must be trouble brewing because the feeling of happiness is absent. Happiness is just that. A feeling. Feelings change CONSTANTLY. It DOES NOT mean that you are faking happiness because you don’t feel happiness consistently. It means you are human.
  • it's a miracle it lasted this long. They were definitely attracted to each other physically but their lifestyle were incompatible.
  • I never thought i would see the day when divorce is called " the evolution of our love ". Smh.

This is how people should end their relationships. Cordially, no toxicity. Just understanding EDIT: Damn a lot of likes just for speaking truth, thanks. All SINGLE ladies hitmeup, i'm looking for a bestfriend❤️ 😎

They both seem like wonderful people that weren’t meant to be. We should wish them well while respecting their privacy.
  • I love the fact that you're NOT messy and just trying to spread rumors or have click-bait captions to get views like the majority of these vloggers do. You definitely got a new subscriber! Peace and blessings Queen

I wish them the best. Sometimes life takes us down different paths. 💕
  • Usually i don't be shocked about couples divorcing, because sometimes things change after the ring, but i was very surprised at this one.
  • I just got married 4 months ago and I dont ever want this to ever happen to me and my husband 🙏🏽 my prayers goes out to both parties

I cant imagine having to explain to the public life changing decisions, being a celebrity is tasking.

This broadcast was so tastefully and respectfully done. Thanks for posting. Your insight was wonderful.

She’s never truly seemed happy not just in her marriage but it always seems like she’s holding something back and searching for fulfillment. I hope she finds what she really needs

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how Empressive handled the whole video with so much class, objectivity, and professionalism? Also, life is already hard enough, we are all trying so let's cut both of them some slack as christians. They are really good people.
  • Love does not conquer all. Sometimes people just don’t fit. It does not mean you don’t love each other, sometimes we just don’t fit together. I applaud them for being respectful of each other as they ended the marriage.

Thank you for doing the work to find videos of Megan Good and Devon Franklin speaking in their own voices. Now the split makes a sense. Their teachings helped me a lot and it was hard to have no context for the split. Their testimony was inspiring. I wish them well. Their union accomplished a lot.
  • I got the impression that they both settled for each other. It was acceptable in the beginning but things change. Older you get more you want what you truly hope for. That’s a huge testimony for me : never settle and do God’s way.

This is a good lesson on not IDOLIZING imperfect people and placing others as our standard to meet. It's okay to be inspired but not to try to replicate our lives to look like others because at the end of the day we just all out here trying to figure life out at the same time. Their season of marriage did appear like they shared so many beautiful moments and I'm sure their season of singleness will have it's own beauty as well. I wish them both much happiness no matter what.

Everyone keeps saying “weren’t meant to be.” Clearly, they were. They were meant to be and transform- not just for the world; they transformed for themselves. Hopefully, they continue a genuine and loving friendship. May God bless them both.
  • Devon shouldn't have let go of his list of qualifications for a wife. It's called being equally yoked and its nothing wrong with wanting someone your considering marrying to not smoke, drink, do drugs, put twerk videos on social media and want to have children as a priority. He was looking past too much.
