This guy feeds his goldfish better than most people do.

Add seaweed too. It's very nutritious. I throw everything (fish, shrimp, whole wheat flour, carrots, seaweed, etc) in a blender and gel it all up with a cup of hot agar agar. I cut them up into serving cubes and freeze. Goldfish need carbohydrates too so that's why I add flour.

Just made some for my golds. They loved it. But I used dried shrimp that I ground up, fresh garlic, and some grounded fish flakes.

This makes sense because in the wild goldfish eat mostly carrots, broccoli, and steam cooked chicken egg. I fed this to my goldfish and you could tell they instantly connected to the traditions of their ancient ancestors in the mountain rivers of China.

What a cute and easy recipe! Never thought of steaming the mix before :)

I love this so much, I’m currently considering getting my son some pearl scale goldfish for his third birthday so I’m trying to learn as much as I can on fish keeping so I can be a good fish mama

AMAZING! My goldfish don't like almost anything. But they really loved this food. 😮😊 I'm really happy!

I did something similar to this. I steamed eggs but instead of Broccoli 🥦 and carrots 🥕 I used apples. I called it boiled apple cake

For anyone watching; here's just a quick step by step comment for convenience + some advice at the end: *HOW TO COOK* ( You'll need 1 egg, a few carrots and a few pieces of broccoli. ) - Peel the carrot and grate how much you'd like to use ( save the rest of the carrot- or eat it if you want to!) - Chop the bulb bits of the broccoli (the end of it) into smaller, fine pieces, as shown in the video at 0:38 - Put your grated carrot and chopped broccoli into a bowl - Crack the egg into a different bowl - Pour some water into the egg white+yolk bowl - Whisk the contents of the egg into an orange coloured liquid - Pour the egg liquid into the bowl you'll be steaming it in, then sprinkle the vegetables into the bowl with the egg liquid - Put the bowl into the steamer now (the video didn't show how long you put it in for), steam until it looks like in the video 1:31. - Let it cool for a minute or so ( if it's too hot for you to eat, it's much too hot for the goldfish to eat! ) - Now either drop the food into the tank, attach it to the tank by clip feeders, or wash your hands with just water, hold the food, and let your goldie eat from your hand! FOODS YOU CAN ADD This video is pretty great, and I never thought about/saw this type of food before (i'm pretty sure if the egg is cooked enough you can eat it too haha), but i'd recommend adding some skinned peas into the mix, as it's so good for their digestive system, and can help if theyre ill! I'd also recommend adding garlic, as fish LOVE the smell and taste of it, and will almost guarantee your picky fishies will eat it! ... Make sure to remove any leftover foods in about 1-2 hours as it'll start to rot and mess up the water :). IF YOU DON'T HAVE A VEGETABLE STEAMER? I'm thinking you can put the steaming bowl in a pot with water that was already preheated, put a lid ontop, and wait for it to look like in the video? Haven't tried this yet! (You should probably look online for answers ) .. Hope you enjoyed the comment, lol ... !
