  • I watched the entire video to see if it's worth buying, and you actually convinced me to get it. I like the way you go through the pros and cons unbiasedly, with no commercial purpose or product placement intention. Thanks.

  • @paulbrideau
Thanks for the review. I'll probably buy it when the 'mute' issue is resolved. Merci, from N.B. Canada.

I'm really pleased by your review you and toddebert are the only the only 2 that has done a proper review. There are several other well known YouTubers that really did a very very poor review didn't touch on most of its functions they listen to 1 band. Didn't go into antenna operations or change the screens nothing. I just wanted to thank you for doing a proper review Fred. Note** they are working on an update fix for the firmware update to fix the muting while tuning and frequency accuracy just to let you know. Dan Robinson was very clear to raddy on what they needed to address so did Giles.. cheers from Alabama USA!!!

Watched it all . Fantastic review . Not one I would buy but really interesting . Well done.

Watched. I've got this radio. It's capabilities & performance remind me of those multi-band radios of the 60s & 70s that didn't perform as well as a radio dedicated to that individual band, but instead gave you a taste of what you could hear.
  • @gncoops
Thanks for review and the effort you made with this I watched the whole video 👍
  • @Frip36
Agree on sound. Got the smaller version the other day and was taken aback with the amount of bass. No tinny fatigue to worry about. Times have changed.

Watched. A lot of people are digging on the price for the radio for the features. I remember growing up we had an analog tuned AM\FM\VHF\UHF radio. We would sit and listen to the planes overhead, which is about all the extra it was good for. It probably cost the same back then as this unit today and this one does so much more. No radio is perfect and you get what you pay for. I'm starting my foray into SW with something cheaper, but I've been on the lookout for a good upgrade in the future. So far, this looks like a good contender. Thanks for the very in-depth review and cheers!

Watched! and I think this is going to be another addition to my collection thanks to your review Fred! 👍
  • I'm in love with this radio already! I have its little brother and it's great. Top video Fred.
  • Very good review. The best I’ve seen so far. I’ve watched it twice to the end, 🤙🏻
  • @thomasives7560
Watched! Great video, thanks for this one and all of your other great videos!
  • Hi Fred! Growing up through the 70s and 80s, theres something really appealing about the overall design. I think that Panasonic made a similar "looking" radio back in the late 70s I think theyve got the design right, and I think it will definitely appeal to people of our age, whether were into radio or not! Definitely on my wish list for sure! Cheers Fred!
  • @user-nq1ln2wu4t
Watched... Good Job! Muting while tuning and slow scanning speed seriously handicaps this radio. This has to improve for a radio to sell at this price point.
  • @keggod76
Watched. Not a shabby unit, thanks for the review.
  • @TurnFullCircle
Deffo watched to the end...very tempting radio....great video and info...thank you very much.
