  • It seems we amateur musicians and producers have 3 jobs: Daytime job, musician/producer and manager/marketing...
  • Social media IS SUPER IMPORTANT. But we think the ability to create undeniable music is the ultimate goal... It may take longer but that's what this is, A LOOOOONG GAME!

We daily assist artists in expanding their reach and finding new listeners, so we know well that promoting a song can be challenging (but always effective with us). Unfortunately, nowadays a good track needs promotion to succeed.

if you watch this on mute, she looks like she's spitting fire bars.
  • Hi, label A&R here (USA). These tips are definitely practical, I'm just not sold on how actionable they are for a developing artist. In other words - these work great, and are actually the standard 10 bases to cover for a standard release, that is, if you already have somewhat of a significant fanbase / signed to a label. I think a handsome majority of people here are looking for tips to cultivate and develop that fanbase so that they can reach that point of good, consistent, release momentum and trajectory thru these strategies. Nonetheless I love what you guys are doing. Cheers!

These are great tips for musicians that already have a following
  • I release my music for my own soul, I accept the idea of never getting famous for my music, so I just prefer to consume my own product, instead other peoples products, so far I am happy with that.
  • As someone who's just getting started trying to release my music for others, this has been incredibly valuable. It's so intimidating feeling like there are so many boxes you "have" to check, it's good to know that this isn't just for people who are really aiming to be the "next big thing," but actionable for those who just want to test the waters too. Thanks so much!
  • Me: "New mixtape coming out soon!" Me one day later: ok my new mixtape is out, check it out

This was my first Burstimo video... about a month ago, never having heard of this channel before, I assumed that it was going to go until the end of the video just leading us around in circles without even getting to tip #1, so you could say at the end "buy our book to get access to these 10 tips!" Boy was I wrong. What a great channel to happen upon. What a wealth of knowledge.
