When I had my daughter nearly 42 years ago, I had a difficult delivery which resulted in an emergency csection. Very quickly afterward I started having problems with my thyroid.....lost massive weight. My Mom was freaking out and started making bone broth......the bones she used were marrow bones. Lots of marrow bones! She'd make me drink 3 cups a day! Bless her heart, after a month of drinking so much bone broth, I did not want to see it again. Now I make bone broth with bones, marrow ones included. If only she could see it.

My husband and I did the 21 Day Bone Broth diet. I lost 9 lbs., he lost 14 and his doctor was shocked at his cholesterol levels. He asked what he'd been doing and said "keep it up!" He no longer takes Lipitor! Thanks DKA!

  • Hi Dr. Kellyann, I believe our country needs to learn how to eat all over again. The bone broth makes intermittent fasting easy! So much of the “food” in our grocery stores should go in the garbage. I really think most people just don’t understand how or what to eat! Keep going and thank you Kellyann❗️❤️
  • I started replacing my morning coffee and my bedtime tea with bone broth and I feel amazing. I'm not starving through the day or when I wake up and I sleep noticeably better even on the very first day. This is so important in these times to be really taking steps to keep our gut healthy.

I had been saving lamb chop bones since hubby and me love lamb. My hubby would tease me about my bag of bones in the freezer. LOL. I pulled them out yesterday and made lamb bone broth in my crock pot. It was my first time making bone broth. Cooked on low for a full 24 hours. Welp, hubby said after drinking a cup today he’ll never tease me about my bag of bones in the freezer again. Just delish. I’ll be experimenting more.

thank you so much for you kindness to share your knowledge. may God bless you and your loved ones.
  • Omg this helped me SOOOO much. I’ve been attempting bone broth for a few weeks now and 3 of my batches didn’t gel but 2 did beautifully. I cook them for a lot longer though. Everywhere you go online someone is telling you differently 😩 I do mine a lot like this except it’s in a stock pot and I also add peppercorns, bay leaves, parsley and rosemary

I've been making bone broth from scratch for years, and I need to make more of it. I feel so good when I do it on the regular! I cook range free chicken roasters. Take the meat off and cook the carcass for 16 hrs in crock pot. It's delish!!!

I have home made bone broth most of the time. I only want to use bones that are organic as much as possible, so sometimes I have to buy packaged bone broth. Very expensive and I am a senior on a budget, seriously. I decided to see this video again to learn what I might have missed. Dr. Kellyann is just gorgeous and I like her personality. I bet she would be fun to sit and have a glass of wine and just converse. I am sure she has some very great stories.

I save chicken bones and parts of many veggies I would normally throw away, in the freezer, I use a big bowl and when it's full I cook it in my instant pot. My seasons are... salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, cumin, bay leaves, apple cider vinegar and more. I use it to make homemade soups, dry beans, lentils, and sometimes gravy. I refrigerate it over night, get the fat out of it and store in the freezer in containers. It's there when I need it for my foods above. It's delicious 😋
  • The chicken idea is great, I usually bake a whole chicken for dinner in the oven once a week, then make pot pies with the dark meat and smaller white meat pieces that get left over.. Using the bones to make broth is genius!
