Hey, everyone is telling you to do stuff, just remember to prioritize enjoying the game your way. Also to learn tech i recommend reading weapon & enemy descriptions at the terminal.

Ultrakill players trying not to backseat:

You seem to think that the red variants of the weapons are the “strongest” versions and the previous variants become inert. This could not be farther from the case, you should use all variants of every weapon.

quick lil tip, you can use the old weapons you bought still since they're also powerful, like the marksman, right click to flip a coin and shoot the coin for the bullet to deflect to the nearest enemy, you can chain the coin too. you can read up on what the other weapons can do to learn more about them!

Here's a cool fact: Lots of the weapons (and even your fist) have synergy with each other, and sometimes they result in some pretty insane combos. Here's a few good ones to start with, but there are plenty more to find if you look for them: 1. Using the feedbacker, you can parry you're own shotgun bullets. 2. The magnet from the blue nailgun works with all types. Hit an enemy with a magnet and switch to the red nailgun to have a much easier target. 3. The coins from the marksman work with ANY hitscan projectile, whether that be your's or an enemy's. The important fact though is that if you shoot a coin with the raincannon, it will autoaim and be guaranteed to hit an enemy.

this game is amazing, and no matter what anyone else in the comments says, play the game HOWEVER you want. i have 640 hours in this game and while i personally care about weapon swapping, you play the game however you find most fun and digestable. i hope you enjoy it!

Just one misunderstanding, you can cycle between each variant by pressing E, each variant can be equipped (red, blue, green all through)
