Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

The fact that you were turning in for the night and your son decided to keep working on his own shows the work ethic you’ve taught that boy. Proud dad moment, I’d say.
  • @AndreasMadsen
Bolt came out. Parts welded together. Bolt redundant. That's a win! 😂👍
  • @ecleveland1
This is actually an opportunity for J&M. If it’s never been done in the field before this will be a chance to write a repair plan for this issue and it also gives them a manufacturing opportunity to increase reliability. Yes it’s inconvenient at the time but the good that can come from it may prevent it from happening again on future carts.

I plan to nominate you for a Oscar for playing the role of a grain cart repair man 😂. That sucks about the grain cart but Kudos to the truck driver for seeing and recovering the bolt
  • @JP-kj5po
So nice for you to show in the intro that even Millennial Farmers can go through late stage puberty voice changes 🤣
  • @petercole2339
That two track at the end shows how large this equipment really is..thats amazing that a young man like that can learn how to operate something that big! Only in America and that's truly the American dream..family working together to make the family stronger!!

I know someone commented it already, but this performance from Zach acting not only as a farmer, but a grain cart repair man is just incredible!! Really did excellent showing the frustration and perseverance to try and overcome an obstacle. Well done sir!!
  • “Auger breakage device” cracked me up! Lol now you can bar around corners with the new angle on that bar. Always a silver lining!
  • @jaywest4102
If Jim was there everything would have run much smoother
  • If it's welded itself together just run it. It's the same as having the bolt in it. Keep the bolt with the trailer in case the weld breaks then you can put it in.

You can’t even get the new camera up and running, such a millennial. YOU FIRED!

I worked in harvest dust all my life, now at 78 I wish I had listened to my old mother and wore a mask. Stay healthy. From Australia 🇦🇺

“When things break down there’s a 50% chance that it’s not ours” The writers have outdone themselves
  • @htdriggers
Wow ! You were very lucky that the driver spotted the bolt and had the Idea that it had come from one of your machines. You were also up on calling the manufacturers to see where they had used that particulay bolt. Great detective work and trying to repair it. Love how you show the determination of farmers to fix their own stuff. Whatever it takes to get the job done. Wound love to see a video on the repair of the cart.
  • @royevans7793
I have the utmost respect for farmers & ranchers. Without you we would be starving! You are the biggest gamblers in the world. If it's not the weather, it's the price of the product you raise. God Bless you!
  • @gberinger55
There comes a time in every boys life when he starts to become a man and part of that is he voice changing. Proud of you Zachy.
  • @ZenMuff1n
If they are that welded together I'd be so tempted to just use it as is. I know that you don't take chances with that kind of equipment, but damn that weld is strong. :D
  • @Brian-ov1rj
The luck of finding that big bolt. 🙏 You should buy a lottery ticket. Working words used and it still did not loosen the cart up. J & M will have it working in no time. On to the next field.
