Ishtar preformed this song in Slavi's show /Sofia, Bulgaria, 26.02.2006/. She was a guest of Slavi and sang this beautiful song with Bulgarian arrangement made by Ku-Ku band. Horchat Hai Caliptus became a popular after first visit of Ishtar in Bulgaria /2004/ exactly in the same show. After that Bulgarians adore this song and many of them tried to sing it. Unfortunately no one can sing that song like Ishtar !!!

P.S. The original version of that song was written and composed by Naomi Shemer. She is an Israeli singer and song writer and wrote the song in 1961.

I am sharing link to an old version. I am not so sure if it is not the first original performance of that song.

AMAZING, What a great beautiful song, tells the story of young parents, when mother came young and pretty father biult home on the hill, near the bridge of Jordan River, near Ekaliptus forest, passed 25 years , curly hair became gray...and here again babies children go down river ...and the smell if maloah (kind of herb Famuse mostly near rivers smell salt) usually use for soup.
