The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is not only one of my favourite super hero games ever made, it’s one of my favourite games ever made. Such a shame Radical was shut down. They were one of the best developers stuck under an awful publisher :(
  • @Akselmoi
I played a lot of Hulk Ultimate Destruction as a kid, was a great game!

I will always miss Radical. I played hundreds of hours of Ultimate Destruction and Prototype as a kid. We desperately need a new Hulk (or Prototype) game that expands on Radical's formula (Hulk 2008 doesn't count lol). Awesome interview!

So glad to hear more about Prototype, one of my favourite games of that era. I hardly hear about it in media in the past 5+ years.

I loved that Hulk game as a kid. Forgot all about it, I didn't realise how thoughtfully designed it was back then but thinking back on it I understand how great it was

Probably one of my favorite PS2 games period, I was pleasantly surprised that it was made by the same people who created Prototype! You can really see the influences of Hulk: Ultimate Destruction in Prototype!

I was amazed by Ultimate Destruction in 2005, and I basically played the Prototype games only because I knew they came from the Ultimate Destruction team. Great video!

Ultimate destruction, hit and run AND prototype? This man basically made every game that made my childhood awesome. Not sure if it's been me trying to look it up more or simply the game itself finding a resurgence of sorts in people's interest but I've been noticing a lot more prototype-focused content as of late. Makes me happy to see that, genuinely wish the stars could somehow align and give us a Prototype Remake/Remaster someday.

Damm we really need a game like this again where you feel like a powerhouse either a game where you play as the hulk, venom or carnage 💯💯🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

One of my favourite Behind the Scenes gaming channels
  • @paradox4780
You could say their shift in type of games they were making was... radical
  • I love how you can see the similarities between ultimate destruction and prototype
  • @AkeruYT
Still hope i gonna see some day a new Prototype... This kind of game on pc is rare and so enjoyable, damn.

11:05 what's funny is that now Hulk can sorta do these things too. In the Immortal Hulk run we've had body horror transformations, and the system of alters working together (in a tentative truce) towards the same goal and even able to swap forms somewhat on the fly as the situation demands. Plus, Devil Hulk has straight up absorbed a man while reforming his body, so... Essentially like consuming people in Prototype? Also Joe Fixit now inhabits a Bruce-like body but is every bit as cunning and ruthless so honestly you could even work military vehicle hijacking into an Immortal Hulk inspired Ultimate Destruction 2 if you really wanted to.
  • I still hold out hope that one day, by grace of god, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, or either Prototype game return to all consoles. As they were meant to be.

HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T REALIZED THIS. I loved hulk ultimate destruction, and when i play prototype i felt familiar with it, no wonder!
  • It’s criminal how this channel isn’t bigger, i subbed based on your documentary about Body Harvest and now working through the rest. The work you put into these videos shows, I mean it’s up there with some of the best Netflix documentaries - thanks for making these so interesting!

Prototype 1's (PS4) gameplay reminded me of the movie-based game The Incredible Hulk (PS3). When I then heard that the same devs had made a Hulk game, it all made sense.

This video is gold. Prototype is my favorite superhero game. The hulk game were great too I loved them. And simpson hit and run that game is the best simpson game of all time.
