"Your name is Rania. This is your first night working for Cloudpunk, the semi-legal delivery company based in the sprawling city of Nivalis. You go everywhere, from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere. No delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver."

Will you be delivering packages across Nivalis? Thanks for watching ^_^

Great review, but I disagree that this game needs action. If they added shooting or other action elements this game will turn into something is not. You're right that this is not a game for everyone, I feel like this is one of those chill games that some of us enjoy after a long day of work. Thanks for the review.

Dude this was actually a great little review and let me tell you something: Why tf dont you have more subs? You did a great job, the voice was great, it was simple and everything well explained.

I don’t have the game but personally I do like the dialogue in gameplays, it makes it feel like I’m not alone in a giant city.
  • I think it looks great. But an action game set in the same universe would make for an epic game for sure. Here's hoping that the developers make another game or set of games that are action oriented and set in the same universe ! This could turn into a huge franchise with many different styles of games and crossovers between the different games stories. Like imagine if the action game had you interacting with the same characters from the delivery one from time to time. Or even there could be more significant interactions between those games if the developers chose to do that. The potential for this universe is immense !! Thank you for your review. Have a great day ! 😃🍀🙏💗

I'll get it, it'll be the perfect "turn your brain off" game. Also I like that it's so "vanilla", after watching several reviews, I found myself coming up with stories for the neighborhoods and bldgs. Maybe the developer meant for us to inject whatever character we want into the setting. Regardless, that's how I'm gonna approach this game....also I'm fried right now.

Great review, thanks for the impressions. On the fence with this one. I'm into the sci-fi Euro Truck Simulator vibe, but the poor voice acting sounds like a big minus.
  • @TheArtkaw
Thinking of picking it up just cuz it's cyberpunk.

I really liked this game but I did want more to do. Can we get GTA: Cloudpunk?

Man, I was just blown away. The game looks like a low budget MineCraft mod but boy is it NOT that. These people actually GET the ideas behind classic CyberPunk which has its roots in Leftist philosophy out of the Reagan era. The creators may not realize it, but the game doesn't just channel classic liberalism, but also more extreme critiques of Modernity like Baudrillardian Postmodernism. Two egs of this: the city is full of 'Automota' which are AI copies of people who do work to pay back debts for their dead owners. This is a perfect illustration of Baudy's idea of the Simulacra, a copy without an original. Second, [SPOILER!!] the city is run by an AI which evokes Baudy's concept of Simulation. This city is stuck in a loop and your character must choose to make a change (inject consciousness into the AI run amok) or protract the city AI which is stuck in a simulation of a previous behaviour that no longer makes sense. Brilliant writing. So much food for the soul, not just shitty shooting.

This game really looked interesting, but I was wondering how long does it take to beat the game? Because I've seen the developer play it for 10 hours

This looks like a nice one to have in the collection.. With such a big backlog I’m still on the fence about getting even more games tho.. I suppose I should finish some of my other stuff like Gravity Rush 1&2..
  • Does the game have any replayability or an endless mode of some kind?
  • @brentloy131
After getting addicted to Death Stranding and getting that Platinum, I’m super down to make deliveries at a fast and reasonable manner.
  • as soon as you mentioned the dialogue going on and on, i made my mind up, its not for me. still watched the rest though to give you a view :) also earned yourself a sub.

No races, no gunfights! Exactly this is what would ruin it for me. I love to play a game where I dont die, I dont suffer enormous story changes or whatever. For me, the game is just perfect as it is. Deliver, get some funny stories and head on. You can not do anything really wrong in this game as far as I can tell. It just chills me like truck simulators do.
