" let me tell you a tale, true soul . Of a man who sold himself piece by piece"
-
Adding vocals (a chorus) is important for background music. I feel like it emphasizes the emotion in music.
-
For some reason this reminds me of dark souls, but it just sounds so holy with the choir and piano

I am a storywriter, working on a story that has been in the works. Using this soundtrack for one of the characters I have named Kortana, making her an anti-villain. As one of the main characters solo'd an entire Army of Angels, two of the angels being Kortana's parents in the beginning of the story, So Kortana comes in years later or mid-story to get her revenge. And this would be played during her speech, before getting into battle.

"Feel no fear before the multitude of men, do not run in panic, but let each man bear his shield straight toward the fore-fighters, regarding his own life as hateful and holding the dark spirits of death as dear as the radiance of the sun." -Tyrtaeus

A beautiful work of art. I love the subtle organ at 3:17 in the background. Really cranked things to an 11

3:20 the organ chords at this part conjures up a scene of an evil priest masquerading as a man of god to cover up for his murders, which he rationalises as god’s work, and finally meets his demise when one of his prospective victims ironically impales him on a crucifix
