February 9, 2022 will be a day long remembered for Front Mission fans. A day when Nintendo and Square Enix announced a remake of the first 2 games, showing that even with moments like Left Alive, series can find a way back.

Asking for Square to explain their worlds is more difficult than asking Gordon Ramsay to not swear at bad chefs.

The fact that this game is terrible is really sad because an urban survival game where you're stuck with limited supplies in the middle of a war zone could've been awesome.

Honestly I think the idea of some of the combat being on foot and having to find Wanzers to pilot while exploring could’ve been a lot of fun, and the first Wanzer being a broken one for a tutorial sounds like a good idea tbh. Imagine how cool it would be if your Wanzer could break if you let yourself get shot enough, and then it would actually affect the handling and abilities and stuff until you could find another, like in Mechwarrier 2!

Apparently the characters being pitifully weak was intentional. You were supposed to replay after upgrading until they were semi-capable on a new game plus. So they expected you to love this game’s awful characters enough to want to do it all again with some ability. On top of all the other problems. Yeah, it wasn’t thought out well.

As a Front Mission and Metal Gear fan, it disheartened me to see this come out so bad. Especially when both respective companies are no longer putting effort into their respected Franchises that were fused to make this sad game.

The editing, the humor and the skits. Brilliant. This channel is a hidden gem and deserves way more subs for all the work the creators put into it.
