The black bean rice looks delicious, I like it, I really want to try it! Filling the bag of corn chips with ceviche adds texture, which is really smart. The only question is, why don't they take out the toys and then add ceviche? Torta chillena is so tempting, you should be able to see the ants drooling next to it when you eat it, LOL! I agree to give the final winner to the tres leches cake. It seems to be a dessert suitable for all ages. It is simple but absolutely delicious. You will go straight to paradise after eating it. Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍🥰👏
  • I love how you are visiting restaurants I've been too. It is so cool to see it through your eyes. You need to add Natilla to your gallo pinto.

I had to do a second comment for this one. My Colombian wife was having a craving for Chicheron, one day in Australia, but we couldn't find it anywhere. I searched the internet until I found an importer of her favourite brand of Colombian Chicheron. I organised to have a box full delivered on her birthday. Now, many years later, she still tells me what a terrible present it was. If f someone asks her what gift she wants she answers, every time, "Not Chicheron". I went to a lot of effort to get that. Oh and her last birthday we had a massive tres leches cake. So good

  • If you're still here, or return, you have to try the Nutmeg Ice Cream in the central market. It's one of a kind!

What a coincidence. We were just talking about Dulce de Leche. King Kong looks a bit like that cake. Manja Blanca, Peruvian Dulce de Leche, is the best in South America. In Montmorency, Northern Colombia, there's a street vender who mixes boiled potato, sausage and onions then cooks them on wood bbq, best Salchipapas I've ever eaten. When we were planning our Colombian wedding, I was going to fly my favourite Colombian street food venders into Bogota and have them set up around the dance floor. Work commitments meant we got married in Australia instead

We just found your channel a day or two ago. We are a family from Ontario Canada that also has a house near Uvita Costa Rica. We have enjoyed your CR videos as they are places we have all been. I have also enjoyed your videos in El Salvador and Cabo of you doing some fishing. I also don't have millions of bucks but love fishing. I have now been out several times down in our area of Costa Rica for affordable $. The best is yellowfin tuna fishing. You have to try that. I have a local guy that goes out of sierpe if you are at all interested. I also can give you a bunch of tips on off-the-beaten-path places if you are down in our area. We also don't like busy tourist places but in our area it's easy to find beautiful places and have them to yourself! I'm not sure if there is a PM on youtube but hit me up somehow are we could get in touch someway more private so I could give you some tips

Food looks differently amazing but the prices in US dollars are expensive & if I put it into my Aussie dollars it’s near on double so I ask you are things becoming more expensive everywhere? Love your channel 🍻👍
