Best ending of all time, couldn’t have been more perfect, Rose finally died in her sleep, after living a long life that she promised Jack she would, and now they are together forever in the afterlife... Separated on Earth, reunited in Heaven 😢

The captain is the last one to start clapping as the captain is the last to leave his ship. Cameron is beyond genius. Tears are so hard to stop watching this scene
  • James Horner was a genius. This soundtrack makes me cry so easily. It truly captures the emotion well, of the movie, the characters, and everything that happened.
  • Titanic: crying Global warming: who hurt you Titanic: points at iceberg Global warming: Give me a few years

Titanic is the movie that you won’t get tired watching again and again. It is such a masterpiece that should never be forgotten. The ending is the best ending I’ve ever seen.

The saddest part of this scene for me had nothing to do with the love story, but that after all the panic, suffering and grieving. To see all the dead passengers come together, they looked so happy. The little girl waving, Fabrizio's smile. Finally at peace.

My mum went to see this in theatre when it came out. Apparently when the movie ended, no one moved for ages and people were crying. Give the producers 1000 awards for this
  • Just saw this movie in theaters again for its 25th anniversary. I cried like a baby. Thought I was the only one and when the lights went on about other 10 people were crying as well. This movie truly deserves all the Oscars that got and it is a masterpiece that stills touching people after 25 years.

The ending is just so emotional, I know it’s up to interpretation but I believe this was Rose ascending to heaven with Jack and the victims of the Titanic. Once she told her story and let the necklace go, her life was complete and she was at peace. And it makes sense that she die right on the ship where the wreckage was so her spirit could join them.

She did everything Jack told her to do, every dream she described to him, she did it, everything she planned out with him, she did on her own. Even the small, little things, she; remembered it all. She gave him the 10 cent for his drawing, and went ice fishing. His words, his actions, what he looked like, the same for everything else. The end really got me, she met him at the clock with everyone around, making the time count just like he told her to do at dinner.  When she reunited with him in heaven, you see all of the big characters that died like Tommy and Mr. Andrews, but the smaller ones too, like the woman who asked where to go with her child. If you payed extra attention, you see that the clock is stopped at 2:20, the exact time the Titanic fully submerged into the North Atlantic. I think the directors decided to do this to show that Jack was waiting for her. But also to show that as soon as the ship sank; it was time to rebuild and regather everything people/loved ones lost. Jack was waiting for her, and he knew that when she came, they could stay and be happy together. Words cannot explain my love for this movie, definitely my all time favorite!

The time on the clock was when the Titanic sank, but this time it was not tragic anymore. They're all peaceful, smiling gently and this scene just captures everything. And everyone is altogether regardless of class. This is simply masterpiece above all others

I can't understate how special this movie was to see as a kid. A large part of my empathy, compassion & love for film scores come from this movie. Cameron's magnum opus.

"Make it count. Meet me at the clock." And she did. Rose lived her life to its best and made it count despite the fact the love of her life died and finally reunited with Jack at the clock on the Grand Staircase. The music in this scene is amazing.

This one of the few movies I ever saw with my mom at the cinema. I remember that day like yesterday. She passed away 6 years ago and I just hope that one day, I can reunite with her and hug her. This scene always give me goosebumps, it’s a masterpiece ❤
