I just started code wars and thought 1Kata was the easiest my first day and almost had an existential crisis thinking “how could I ever dream of being a developer if I can’t even complete the easiest ones”😂
  • I remember a year ago I did my first CS class and tried codewars, and didn’t know anything. Now I’m doing 4,5 and 6 level katas and it makes me so proud 😀

Man CodeWars forces you to Focus on the Fundamentals of a Programming Language. I did tutorials for a year which was ok in introducing the basic concepts but CodeWars reinforces what you are supposed to learn.

Thank you this was very good overview. I have spent almost and entire year learning and gaining skills in both html and css ( css moreover) but now it's time to jump to Javascript. I think the best way to learn is by practicing. I like how you took the "don't sell yourself short" this is how I learn most of what I know. I google answer but then I try to understand the why that was the answer. Thank you. Fyi I spend half and hour trying to figured out the beginning challenge to even sign up lol. But now I know why
