Manya was born a runt. She was blind in her left eye and had some medical issues. She was a healthy young kitty at first. And since she was half blind, she could not see her toys, but she entertains herself by catching her whiskers and flipping mid-air. She was such a pure joy, even to stragers who come to our house.
Eventually, she started wabbling when she walks and now she is totally paralyzed. She is battling with siezures too and so she has medications mentained.
This morning I brought her to the vet and she was was sedated because she was hyperventilating. She became unresponsive after a few minutes that I had to rush her to the ER.
She has pneumonia and is hospitalized to tabilize her. After release she will be brought to a neurologist, would need a CT scan and probably more blood work to trace the cause of her siezure.
Manya is just a cat and to some probably she does not matter. But to us, she is part of the family and my husband and I are taking turns caring for her 24/7. We are willing to make sacrifices to save this precious life and we are humbly knocking at the door of your hearts to please help us finance her hospitalization, her tests and other needs. She means the world to us and seeing her suffer without knowing what is going on just breaks our hearts.
