AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series has been hotly anticipated from its first whisper. Now, it promises to beat Intel at their own game – And with lower power draw to boot. And they teased RDNA3!

“Throwing more power at the problem” is Nvidia’s calling card now.
-
I absolutely love the outdoor set. The trees and grass are so realistic! And the lighting seems so life like
-
Ten years ago, AMD was remembered for instability, overheating, and performance issues in the CPU market. Now look at it, AMD processors literally smashed down Intel processors in many aspects.
-
Longer term AM5 support is reason enough to stay team red. Their cpu naming is also far easier to follow
-
I love Anthony's presentation style. Deep knowledge and great communicator.
-
Big note, RPCS3- The ps3 emulator utilizes AVX-512, this is big news for gaming indeed as the cell processor on the ps3 cannot be optimized rather it needs to be brute forced
-
Anthony delivering nerd news in front of a majestic tree is Amazing! Love your vids Anthony. I am excited to see hands on, breaking from team blue has been fun, hopefully the cpu's and gpu's test hands on!
-
When y'all get your hands on these and start doing benchmarks... Please include a decent amount of non-gaming benchmarks. Both single and multi-threaded. There's a lot of us that watch y'all for performance reviews but maybe don't care as much about the gaming performance, rather workloads regarding big data and other high computer workloads. Excited to see more about these chips!
-
Man these improvements, especially the better power efficiency, make me excited to see how much this will improve the Steam Deck once Valve refreshes its internals.
-
I get so excited when I see Anthony judging companies and being excited for something !
-
Straight to the point, entertaining, and without the smoke and drama that a lot of "communicators" use. Great job Anthony! Well done. PD: loved the tree.

I really love that you're out there in a park this time. As always, incredible experience watching you and LTT team.

Putting basic integrated graphics in all Zen4 CPUs is a nice touch. Great to have as a backup. Great to see existing AM4 coolers are compatible, too.
-
Heck yeah efficiency!! I know it's uncommon but I got really into power-draw and efficiency when I went to build a home lab. Having a PC on 24/7 really means something when you live in a market where the kwh rate is $0.38 -- and so I went with a 4800U mini-pc and it's just nice knowing that under my maximum load that guy is just going to pull 20-25W tops. So I'm really glad AMD is continuing with this tack.
-
This amazing drive for efficiency AMD have nowadays is derived from the decade of being mocked by everyone for their powerhunger and weak am3, am3+ pre ryzen cpus.
-
Ive always been a AMD fan from when they were still getting beat down by Intel. Glad to see they are still improving themselves and not just phoning it in
-
Man, really cool that AMD is leading in a good direction. Hopefully Intel and Nvidia have efficiency focused products coming up as well.

Vray is not geared more towards GPU compute, it's primarily a CPU based renderer the addition of GPU and CPU with GPU assisted rendering mode is fairly new and is a separate rendering mode from the CPU default method. This is why it's very good for benchmarking, you can directly compare CPU only to GPU or GPU + CPU render modes.

Yeah, AMD has CERTAINLY done tweaks to the front end. The interconnect can clock to 3GHz according to leaks. I don't know if AMD actually confirmed this but since they said Zen 4 is optimized for DDR5 6000, that means the IF clock would run at 3GHz. For Zen 3 about the best you could get was 1.9GHz if you were very lucky. So that certainly speeds up data transfers. Then add in PCIe gen5 is lower latency, basically 1/2 the latency of PCIe gen4 (2X transfer rate)

So far I've been impressed with AMD Ryzen products. It was tough at the beginning to shed that reputation of the older processors but man did they knock it out of the park. Also, Anthony is awesome as always.
