One of the hidden messages I specifically love is in EP21 where WKX asks ZZS what kind of wine he prefers between Zhuyequing and Nv'serhong. While Zhuyequing is good for digestion, Nv'serhong was a wine stored buried by families with a daughter and when she was to marry they would dig it out to serve it to the wedding guests. So WKX is basically asking ZZH "Do you want good digestion or do you want to marry me?" and ZZH replies "As you please." I'm sure he understood WKX's innuendo 😊😊

to think that this project was filmed 0n a limited budget... they delivered so much more... and a strong friendship was formed between two actors... i can see how they interact in their interviews..even cried during their concert...hands down to the whole team...

The only nice part about good dramas with censorship (:/) is that it proves there is no need for kissing to show love.

This only occurred to me like two days ago. When ZZS and WKX were first fighting the Drug Men. ZZS cut his hand and came out of the trans in only a few seconds. Yet, WKX was given medicine by ZZS and then lightly stabbed by him, several minutes later, and it still took another minute or so for WKS to come out of it. It didn't occur to me until this week that the reason for the different reactions was that ZZS was losing his sense of smell, so the Dream incense didn't work as strongly on him. He could still smell things at this point, (unlike later on), but it was starting to fade so he didn't get the full effect of the Drug.

one of the things i noticed was that zzs hated blood on his clothes or like in general he didn't like it but in one of the later episodes zzs wipes wkx's bloody lips with his sleeves

I still can't get over The Untamed but the show fills the emptiness that The Untamed left

The only reason why I know “cut sleeve” idiom is through mo dao zu shi😭💔 I remember them referring to wwx as a cut sleeve in the novel. When prior knowledge comes to use at long last hehe

My favorite one is when they were calling each other sweetly like "Lao Wen" and "Ah Xu" repeatedly while drinking. Also the one where Wen Ki Xing got drunk and Ah Xu tended to him and kissed his forehead.

And with all these hidden gem this series passed the censorship which we all r highly thankful for this is truly a masterpiece the best drama of 2021

There’s a scene where WKX teased ZZS if he’s not scared of ghosts due to being a virgin. Ghosts belong to the Yin realm while humans belong to Yang realm, and male virgins have the strongest Yang aura.

another one i read about is when WKX asked ZZS what wine he wanted - he offered 2 wines. the 2 wines have a backstory but it basically means wine for good health or wine for marriage. WKX ends up choosing a completely different wine than the 2 options he asked ZZS aka he was flirting/teasing with ZZS

This drama has no joke. I recently finished Word of Honor and from the start I was aware of I was about to start a masterpiece. Gj zzh and whole cast delivered emotions and characters so well. I am really impressed as a picky person for dramas. Characters, story and action scenes… I excited so much and it was indeed entertaining! Guess I have to watch this drama again cuz it was incredibly high quality. I don’t even talking about way of showing affection cuz I’d get diabetes from that 😂

When WKX and ZZS was standing outside an inn and saw the lanterns of Window of heaven appear, if you notice you will see that ZZS couldn't see the lantern clearly and WKX said "Who is lighting up lantern now" then only ZZS realised Window of heaven is into the matter. When WKX and ZZS were sunbathing and when WKX reapeated "ah-xu" 2nd time, ZZS couldn't rely on his ears completely and had to lip read to be sure.

For me the sugar is clearly and visibly present when Wen kexing calls Zhou zhishu ❤️" A' shu" ❤️...it is so sugary even the look in wen kexing's eyes become dreamy, loving, soft while calling #A'shu#

I really love this drama more than romance dramas which only shows leads kissing we can't even feel their love but in this drama we can see them showing through different ways like their stares while looking at each other , their eye contacts , flirting, willing to die for each other , wanting to get attention from each other , wishing to spend whole life together, teasing each other , comforting, understanding each other without speaking these couple were far better than the cringy romance dramas I've seen

WOH is sugary than hetero drama. i am getting diabete because the drama split so many sugars.
