This happened during one of Layla’s SH sprees
Explanation:
When everyone found out about Celeste’s murder Haiku offered to take care of Lucas (Layla’s sister) as Layla was constantly drinking and doing SH and she didn’t feel it was a safe place for Lucas to be in (or at least alone) which is why he says “are you coming home” as he sees her as another sister rather than a guardian
