Predator & Prey || Technoblade & Philza

I find it interesting that Philza's the one that appears at the end for predator, and Techno for prey. I've had this little pet 'I noticed this thing' for a while now that c!Techno is like. Incredibly trusting on a surface level. He's given a lot of people a lot of chances, and let people in again after they broke his trust (Tommy). C!Phil though- Phil doesn't trust a lot of people at all. And while they both hold grudges, Techno is a lot more trusting than Phil. My theory is because Techno knows he can defend himself without much worry if someone turns on him, which is why his trust is surface level. Phil's is a lot deeper and a lot rarer

I could write a whole essay on this animatic. AN ESSAY! The lyrics? The song choice? IMMACULATE. Like, the imagery with the "wretch without a name"? The look on Techno's face, the blood/handprints on the wall...(Also, raised for death, reminds me eerily of pigs raised for slaughter, slaughtered by Butchers, Techno in a cage, history repeats itself, ashdgdsjgfksgdfkdg) Amazing. Phil saving him, and Techno's eyes turning red as he gains life and bloodlust? Brilliant. Also, the body language and the expressions you draw are so cool? SO COOL?? I love them. And. Predator and prey. Can I just say? What an AMAZING move it was to make Philza the predator and Techno the prey? Cause it was amazing. I feel like people never notice just how bloodthirsty and chaotic Philza is. My dude's scary. Techno is too, don't get me wrong, that's why they get along so well. But people always assume that Phil is the chill one in this friendship. He is not. He is old, wise, and patient. He reminds me of that one Tumblr post about how Death does not need to chase or kill anyone, he can just patiently wait, make friends, whatever, because he is inevitable in the end. Like, Phil helps people out, he is kind and friendly on the surface, but wrong him and you are dead. And that's a promise. Techno on the other hand is more...skittish? Like, he plans obsessively and is always ready for anything and all, but his moods can change easily, and he is much more emotional than people think. Literally every confrontation, Techno screams and shouts his woes at the world that keeps hunting him. Philza? He laughs. (See the doomsday scenario, where Phil is chuckling "Not a fan of governments", while Techno is having a screaming match with Tommy) Anyway, sorry for the mini meta, I love this animatic so much, oh my god. Absolutely brilliant job on it, I bow to your skill.

I wish techno wouldve been around long enough to see this

I feel like this animatic could easily become a great story to write for a dsmp fanfic I will easily be intrigued in the story if it ever happens
