Why is it SO fun getting a box of components from Antique Electronics? It NEVER gets old!!

Wow! I had a Blues DeVille and it was a great amp on its own.

Talk about a beautiful wiring example. Such an artist! I want one!!!!
  • I’m digging the Fountain City Guitars shirt! I live in the KC Metro and I have guitars in and out of their shop all the time! The twins are real wizards AND really cool guys! Looks like some nice work on your part! Thanks for sharing!

Liked the vid before I saw the Healy Growler but hit the like button again anyway. Good clean work. 👍

Super sick! I’ve had a deville hanging out for awhile I’d love to do something like this!

Which schematic were you using? Something from ampgarage? It doesn’t sound like any of the dumble models I’ve played or heard? Your work is nice and clean though
  • @Weegus
    Where's the dumble sound
  • Fun to watch! It,s like building an oversized pedal with tubes! I,d he nervous about those screw down connecters! Crimp em down good and hit them with the wifey,s nail polish!
  • The Les Paul jr is the main reason for me repeatly watching 5his...bet it would sound wickid through a 15 watt 2x10" Vox styley combo.
  • @guelass
Great job dude! I'm shocked for the cleaning wirings, I'ts very good to see. My HRD needs that work, but there isn't technician near to me and seems to be an hard work for a newbe!

so... can't help to ask. the wiring for the majority you used same color into the screw terminals, heater wire etc. does it not actually matter which is which? i didn't see anything to determine positive vs negative. been looking to do a build and noticing that caught my attention.

What did you use for the shielded input cable? Would Mogami patch cable work?
