Sabaton isn’t the answer. It is a question. And the answer to that question is yes.

sabaton: heroic and tragic tails of real people and events that happened all throughout history modern music: ''waaa I miss my ex''
  • Fun fact: Actually, the hussar wings had an actual use in battle: The feathers, made out of metal, would make a clanking noise scaring off the horses of enemy cavalry.
  • Sabaton and other metal and rock bands don’t need weapons to slay pop musicians. They just use talent, good song writing (that they do), and actual instruments to do that
  • With weird modern music you don’t understand it but with Sabaton you learn history

All modern music has one of four messages. “I am an alpha male” “I am depressed” “I am lonely” “I am in love” Sabaton is none of these things. They sing about the most badass moments in history. More artists should follow in their footsteps and experiment with the subjects of their songs.

Sabaton aren't just musicians, they are storytellers. Telling stories of the brave men and women who gave their lives for the betterment of their respective nations or fellow man. From the bronze clad Spartans, too the machine gun wielding Wehrmacht. Only Sabaton can tell their stories through the universal language of song.
  • Man. Sabaton carries the spirit of christmas way better than these modern artists
  • I'm 49 and my best friend is 53. I discovered Sabaton about a month ago, and showed them to him. Since then, we both have been listening to nothing but them. 2 days after I told him about Sabaton, he calls me "How long have you known about Sabaton???" Me "About a week." Him "How in the F**K did we not know about these f**king guys years ago????" Me "I don't know. Better late than never, I guess?"

As Gen X, I love to see metal back

Iron Maiden started the historical metal music and have some of the best songs ever written, Sabaton perfected history in their own awesome style.

Sabaton is one of the rare music channel that actually have educational purpose
  • At first I thought the weird modern bands we’re gonna win But then the Winged Hussars arrived
  • I saw Sabaton a few weeks back at Wembley. One of the best performances I've ever seen in my life, absolutely amazing band 🤘

I cannot tell you how grateful I was when you let To Hell and Back finish.
  • With those other groups, most of the time you look up the lyrics just to understand what they’re trying to say. With Sabaton, you look up the lyrics to learn something. And then you go and learn some more.
  • Sabaton is my favorite band of all time, what makes me respect them even more is that they travel the world and took the time to learn each country's history and make them into songs so they can never be forgotten, with Sabaton you learn things that happened in other countries that you'd never imagine. Like I never knew Sweden was in war for 30 years until I heard En Livstid I Krig (A Lifetime of War) both Swedish and English version.

As a person who likes history and hard rock I see this as an absolute win
