I seen XMONDO when my mom and I went to Sally's and I convinced her to try the super pink/purple colors. We did purple on the top and transitioned into the pink for the bottom half of her hair. She did have pink in her hair already (it was faded) and it all turned out stunning.

Sally's is the perfect spot. So accessible, so lovable. You understand your clientele if you know to choose a practical, affordable, non-intimidating place to put your product because hair dying IS absolutely a "it's 7pm I gotta do this now" impulse OR "I need to prep & plan and stock up on so many products" thing, and neither of these goals are good for boujee places or mall-only places etc... You just planted a gem exactly where it should be, it's gonna be people's go-to.

When I was in art school I always had a backpack full of developer & an array of colors from Sally's, & peeps in my classes knew I was the go-to anytime anywhere hair dyer ❤. The # of times people hit me up for a quick coloring between classes still warms my heart a zillion years later ❤ con-fucking-grats on getting in to The Place for people like us!!!

I've been blue for like 5 years now and I always stay blue, it's such a great color and it fades so beautifully (mine turns to a lovely sea green). I get the bleaching done professionally and touch up the dye at home. Recently started using super blue with a bit of purple to neutralize my natural gold tones and keep the blue fresh 🩵
