power is a fictional character from tatsuki fujimoto's manga chainsaw man and she is a complete fiend working alongside the main character denji against different enemies.
in the anime adaptation, she is voiced by fairouz ai in japanese and sarah wiedenheft in english. the character was highly praised by critics with many considering her a breakout character out of the manga, with many praising the introduction of the character, personality and her relationship with denji throughout the manga. her fight scenes and powers throughout the manga and anime adaptation also received praise. and now she is in a rap battle against nezuko from demon slayer
nezuko kamado is a fictional character in koyoharu gotouge's manga series demon slayer: kimetsu no yaiba. nezuko and her older brother tanjiro kamado are the sole survivors of an incident through which they lost their entire family due to the demon king, muzan kibutsuji, with nezuko being transformed into a demon, but unexpectedly still showing signs of human emotion and thought. after an encounter with giyu tomioka, a demon slayer, and now they are on a journey to the next rap battle as tanjiro begins his quest to help his sister turn back into a human and avenge the death of his family.

Power started strong and had a killer beat but then Nezuko outclassed her with her jabs, delivery, and creative use of the music. I can only say this about Nezuko. She came, she saw, and like the sun, she CONQUERED!

I love how aggressive Chi-Chi is in her raps. My favorite performance in any rap battle was Toko Fukawa and she’s done an amazing job again.

I definitely wasn’t expecting that kind of beat to drop to a specific rhythm for Nezuko like that during her first verse. Kudos to the creativity from it! I definitely gotta give Nezuko the win on that battle, but not just because of that , but it was also the longevity of that first verse Nezuko was doing. She had a huge advantage over Power, despite the speed of how Power starts rapping.

The fact that nezuko was able to incorporate that griddy line into her second verse without it coming off as cringe is kinda impressive Ik y'all are gonna name who won but I'm here just to appreciate freshly kanal s animation

I like the characterization here, with Power being much louder and broad with her disses while Nezuko is much softer and subtle but just as hard hitting with her zingers, really well brought to life by Chi-Chi & Azia as well as the amazing custom artwork, y’all did excellent work on this one and I can’t wait for more battles in the future
