Hello Everyone today I'm glad how has finished a Tailstock on a Homemade Lathe, it take many days to finished this, I been busy and it hard to make it because no professional machine most i did by hand so is not perfect for all. However I'm happy cause now it work then can use it for my next project.

    hi Rany I asked what Morse Taper your tailstock barrel was. A number 3 Morse Taper is common for medium size lathes (hole diameter at front of taper 0.938 inch, a number 4 is 1.231 inch). A number 4 taper is used on taper shank drills up to around 2 inch diameter, so some serious forces involved in using such large drills. You have made excellent progress with your machine.
