Punk: This isn't how I do things Rock: We'll how do you do things? Punk: Well first I.... Rock: It doesn't matter how you do things.
  • To this day I still believe that wrestlemania shouldve been a triple threat match between rock, cena, and cm punk
  • @leeross1205
The funniest thing would be him and the rock having a passive aggressive argument
  • The way he explains it is basically two people sticking to their guns, at the end they came to a middle ground. No hate or animosity involved at worst a debate. Cm punk may be prideful at times but he did reach out so the rock didn't misunderstand him and the rock had already forgotten. That's maturity on both sides.

Lol I swear every wrestler in an interview like this always tries to mimic Vince McMahon's voice if he's brought up

Feel like Rock would love working with people like Punk and respected how he responded with ideas. I understand why Cena and Rock main evented wrestlemania as it's always been a show about star power, but I think Punk could have been involved in the rematch as maybe a triple threat... But I imagine Cena wanted his win back in a 1 v1.

“Did you know they give people time off now” That line hurt. Damn, that says a lot, man. The man was risking his body on the line, yet he got no respect from the WWE.

At this point WWE is like a Charity that The Rock gives back to with an occasional appearance or promo, or as a plug for wrestlers who want to transition into Hollywood.
  • @assassinsknight
Rock mistook Punk as one modern day superstars Vince made. He was pleasantly surprised.

CM Punk and The Rock had a great rivalry, good memories 😊

Casually adds in "i was dating Lita back then".

Vince, triple h and punk in a plane together. That must’ve been interesting
  • @TophDaGreat
I am going to imagine Punk grabbing his knee and selling it for an uncomfortable period of time like Peter Griffen does.

CM Punk was an Indy wrestler in a Major Wrestling promotion and it made him one of the best heels, he was a different type of wrestler from what WWE Was giving us and I think we should all have enjoyed his run for what it was and hope this AEW Run is just as great.

Imagine how stressful it is to enter a room with The Rock and full of strangers and you have to do them a live promo, Man it's crazier than the show itself..
  • @krow449
I'm 100% convinced he's never ever coming back. Edit: lmao @ the comments rolling in 2 years later. Thanks for the entertainment 😂 Edit 2: the comments still rolling in 3 years later just to tell me that I was wrong 😂 come on now boys

Punk walked in there and was met by Dwayne Johnson, but ended up waking up The Rock

I remember watching and being a fan of cm punk back when he was still in the ecw and I was always saying how on earth this guy is not killing it
