  • This is why duals matter. Neville’s loses to one of the best to ever do it and then gets a standing ovation because pen state fans know he just won them the dual. Everyone has a role to play in duals and losing can still be winning.

It wasn’t even about winning the battle he tried to win the whole war! You got to be the goat to be able to literally carry the whole team on your back. Snyder is a MONSTER!!

Did Nevills take a shot all match? Still, credit for him for fighting hard for 7 minutes with one of the best wrestlers in the WORLD

Fascinating what a good atmosphere in the audience

Snyder uncharacteristically went for the big throw when take 'em down/let 'em up was working well enough for the major. There were so many big moments in this dual it's hard to pick the biggest. But oddly enough it just may be Nevills in defeat!

Very interesting not being able to be upset about your personal loss and focus on what you did in making the team get the W

I know their weights are a big apart but I feel like one day we will see Stevenson vs Sadulev! I wonder how those Olympic training matches went with Snyder and Gable because Snyder is lighter but a tank who competed up at HW and beat the best in College. I mean Gable is just a beast! Beating Olympic and World champs at the highest weight to get his gold and the way he got it done was outstanding but I honestly thought they shoulda counted that toss out of bounds which he probably woulda tech d him at that point.

Find me another sport where you can get thoroughly dominated, but still be the hero and get a standing ovation because you put the team on your back

Anyone want to explain the strategy at the end of the first period and beginning of the second? Snyder goes neutral with 15 seconds left in the first then let’s him up quick at the beginning of the second? That didn’t make sense to me. He gave him two effortless points. What am I missing?
  • Don't understand the thought process in cutting Nevills with 0:15 left in the first. Take the riding time, make him tire himself out a bit, and move on to the 2nd. 15 seconds isn't a lot of time to score a TD.
  • Nevills fell for the same toe snatch single like 5 times in a row..
