I think what bothers me more than them doing it is the media and social media giving them credit as "hackers". Not only does it create unnecessary fear in people, but it gives people who are just running a script across a botnet entirely too much credit.

Great info mate. My 13yo tried to tell me that we had been DDOS’d and I told him to go take a reality pill. I owe my teenage son a humble apology. I’m also heading out right this minute to purchase a new wireless modem-router. Thanks again for the excellent info.
