VIC BLENDS on Sneakers and His Unbelievable Origin Story #coolkickspodcast

Published 2022-12-20
After being rejected from every college he applied to, Vic Blends went from washing dishes, to building a six-figure hair-cutting business out of his mom’s garage, to becoming a personal barber to some of the biggest names in sports & hip hop, to social media stardom and giving away free haircuts to strangers in exchange for heartfelt conversations. On this episode of Kickin' It With Cool Kicks, Vic tells his story, gives advice to young entrepreneurs, and breaks down what matters even more than hustle on the path to success.

Vic is wise beyond his years. He’s an old soul. He sees people, I don’t mean just looking at them. He actually sees them. Nowadays people are just so busy either on their phone or tablet or just don’t care to actually sit there and connect with someone. Everyone that I interact with in life I make sure to make eye contact with everyone, I hate when someone can’t look at me when they speak to me, I feel like their trying to hide something so therefore I won’t deal with them anymore. I could be wrong, but that’s just me. Life is to short to be surrounded by people that can’t make eye contact. Idk, but this young man is a breath of fresh air i was beginning to think his generation was a lost cause. I shared a clip of Vic with my kids and both of them were like that’s VicBlends we follow him on IG love his videos. They were like you late Mom… lol I don’t have IG so I guess I am. But my son was like he’s the reason I was cutting hair, my sons 30, but he didn’t stick with that he’s an Exterminator now cutting hair on the side. 😂 Vic has touched every age group with his uplifting positive videos. 🥰
  • Preach on Vic you’re a good inspiration. I dig the podcast. I’m from Chicago and want you guys to open a cool kick store 🏬 out here.
