Hey you, don't apologise for your flat. You've been on holiday! Thanks for sharing the "after a holiday" video. I always feel like the worst plant parent every time I come back from holiday πŸ˜…β€
  • Yes! Ross' creations are absolutely worthy of a video! His lil monsters and skulls are so cool! I'd absolutely purchase that little skull if it was available! πŸ’€πŸŒΏ You are so fun to follow! You're just so down to earth and the way you handle a sad or defeated feeling in any moment is just uplifting and inspiring. Thanks, Claire πŸ’š

I really love and look forward to your videos! They are my Saturday morning with coffee videos! πŸ₯°

Thank you for ALWAYS being so authentic. Its nice to see that as a new plant parent, its ok to see plants on the yellow or crispy side, and saying its ok to not like a plant and part ways. I feel so guilty when I dont want a certain plant because it doesn't meet my expectations. Im new to detecting pests and would like to know more about how certain pests damage your plants specifically so I know how to treat. Spraying, treating, cutting back, anything else you have had success with. Thank you Claire. Love your videos so much!
  • I had the same problem with my marantha silver band and as soon as I placed it in a lower light spot she started giving me nicer and bigger leaves
  • Tips on your ferox. On the back of the leaf, make some cuts across the veins? I can't think of the word? Then place it on top of spagnum moss and tiny babies grow from the cuts. I haven't done this but there are utube videos on it. Specially the Mullanobulata.

Oooooh!!!! Yes, please do a video of Ross' plant pots. They are amazing!!! Did I hear you say 'another plant swap'? Yayyyy!!!!! :face-red-heart-shape:. Really enjoyed this plant walkthrough video!!!

Hello Claire, I had a longer comment that disappeared. Your comments on mental health really do make a difference. Thank you.
  • @HissNHer
I’m so sorry the plant gods haven't been very kind to you whilst you were away, but I guess this is what we have to endure every so often right? I’m looking forward to seeing everything bounce back for you! πŸ’šπŸͺ΄
  • Hi Claire❀ RE: Anth vittarifolium - just in case you’re not aware, usually the first few inflo’s are not mature enough to be successfully pollinated. So don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work the first few timesπŸ’•
  • πŸͺ΄πŸͺ΄ I've been saving this video for my moss pole maintenance and repotting day today and I love doing plant chores along with you!
  • I have propagated begonia Ferox a lot now. I always cut the leaf and stick in a perlite/moss prop box and it’s never failed me yet! When I saw you put the stem in water I also decided to experiment this way and the stem just sort of fell apart. The other way to do it is by rhizome cutting which is probably the quickest of all but I don’t think you have that option. Good luck! I’m sure it will do fine :) one of my favourite plants in my collection so happy to see you have it now too :)
  • @od.vandeveer
I love the monsters, the orange one on the swing is great
  • Are you two still planning to do a video on the clay creations Ross has been making? A while back you mentioned it would be fun, and I agree!
  • @wandashaw3551
Omg, hot! I'm in the northeastern part of the US, and today, it is 42 degrees Celsius. πŸ”₯ πŸ₯΅. Good luck with your plants.
  • @Marlur
    Love the cool pottery! 😊
  • I just want to thank you for this lovely channel. You have taught me to slow down and enjoy the process of taking care of my plants. I grew up in the restaurant business, and because of this, everything I do, I rush through as if it is a race, with maximum efficiency being the goal. It's funny when I think back to not-to-long-ago, moving plants to larger pots, I rushed as if I was in the emergency room, and was so afraid the plant would die if I didn't get it into the new pot IMMEDIATELY. I now have so much more joy and peace in the process, by watching you. THANK YOU - Pam from Nashville, TN
  • @lisaplanty
Marantha would look nice hanging as the don’t need a lot of light I have a large red one hanging ps my silver band is the same as yours
