When I saw the new blight scarab + blightspawn node I thought the same thing. One lane of juiced up bosses would just be outrageous profit. I can picture getting 30+ chests easily, 20% of which can be re-opened. Yeah, I think blight will be insane.

You can move the divination card rewards from 1 map to another. so you could move apothecary to Toxic Sewers.

"Oh so you're running a boss rush build next league? Which boss are you gonna be farming?" Blight

Also for bases, you can now only get 30% quality from drops, there is literally no other way.

Also the fact that the entire item quantity scaling got deleted, But blighted map chests were never affected by item quantity anyway. Feels good.

One thing to remember is that with the currency auction house many players will probably gravitate towards strategies that they can easily buy and sell on there. There might not be much competition in blight since I think most players will want to farm breach or delirium more. With less oils coming from maps and not many people enjoying blighted maps this could be one of the best early league money makers with how easy those maps are with ring anoints.

The fungal horizons is crazy since with favourites you can allways get the map layout you want. At least I hope it works this way.

You need to add a disclaimer: One needs a VERY high dps build to handle blight ravaged maps, because no matter how one builds towers, at least one unique mob always gets by -- and you often need to face tank and dps it down quickly enough so it doesn't compound other problems. Shit is no joke and feels very bad when oiling up a blight ravaged map, only to fail on it. Very FEW people will be able to run blight ravaged maps on day 2.

Also, with 6 slots map device and the return and Wildwoods and Sentinels, a lot of things will become much stronger but also more profitable for those who are able to run them. I am trying to guess as well what will be the effect of the new oil on blighted and ravaged maps.

With div card swapping you can choose the best blight map and have apothecary drop

As a blight farmer since that league game out, I'm most looking forward to the double anointed amulet bases. You hit the right ones and value could be through the charts.

Just as there is a difference between blight, a blighted* map, and a blight ravaged map, I think the term 'blighted' chest is intentionally different than the standard blight chest, so one blight chest is upgraded to a 'blighted' chest is how I think this reads, not expecting it to remove the other blight chests. We will see!

How would you sell the double anointed amulets? That is way too specific for people to be checking for regularly

Huge pack size bonus from the new maven chisel too, might crank up the chest reward to ludicrous levels

Blight is one of my favorite mechanics in the game and I usually only ever did it in maps or the odd blighted map here and there. My question are; Can a weaker build do blight ravaged maps with just the towers or do I need a build that packs a punch to get through the bosses? Also, with the changes to melee skills and the nerf of other builds (Manastacker Mjölner, RF and Spark, which I usually played), what would be a good build in theory to get going with it as early as possible? Also, what mechanic is good to pair it with during mapping? Last league I did it with Delirium. Lastly, what are the best annoints for blight ravaged? For normal blight maps I tend to use teal to make it quicker.

What build would you recommend for blight farming? I haven't been seriously farming blighted maps since they killed Poet's Pen Volatile Dead
