CHINA BITES ME AGAIN GOOD WITH MORE COUNTERFEIT PARTS

So it's interesting that this video popped up on my recommended list. Just yesterday I pulled a counterfeit NGK spark plug out of a chevy cruze head that ruined it. The MASSIVE variation in resistance from the plug got the cylinder so hot there is now 4 cracks in the plug seat, and it's now junk. I verified that it was in fact a counterfeit plug by NGK's own website. But what's crazy is it was only 1 out of 4 bought in a set. The other 3 were real NGK plugs, and only one (which was boxed up and wrapped in the same packaging with the others) was fake. I didn't even know this was a thing. I've never seen it before.

Buy a Chinese spanner if you want to use it once. Otherwise buy a real spanner. I recently bought a new ignition coil for my lawn mower. It failed after a few minutes. I exchanged it under warranty and the new one failed. After FOUR failures I demanded an OEM coil. Not made in China. It still works. Funny about that.

I lost my PCB career designing chips in 2010. At the end, I was on the phone with India and China helping them do my job. The were offering 24-7 work, no sleep…And now they want to bring the chip industry back, we had it and you gave it away ! P.O.S all of um…

I rarely buy my auto parts on-line. I don't usually buy parts from the chain stores as I have a great independently owned parts store in town. I didn't know that the Chinese knockoff parts had infiltrated the chain store supply. It wouldn't surprise me if Champion is manufacturing plugs in China.
