U2 in peak form. They were about 40-41 years old. I wish I could go back in time and re-live these concerts. Those shows were amazing.

Hands-down best live version of this song ever. Also a top 15 live moment for the band. The crazy part about this version of The Fly is it only came about out of necessity due to the significant vocal issues Bono was having at the time. That’s why they cut out his falsettos and transposed the choruses because his voice was fried. So they arranged this one in order to play it on the Elevation tour. What they came up with is absolute perfection.

This is U2...raw...absolutely firing on all cylinders....over the years, they have sometimes got it so wrong....but when they get it right....no band in the World even comes close.
