Hey everyone. Regarding the switch back to AMD. I didn't use the 9000 series yet because we don't have the 9900 or 9950 yet, and those chips are going to be used for testing for a while. But I'm excited to see how they perform. Also if you see the "Universe is Unlicensed" message we don't know why that appeared in the export, our license is current and logged in at time of export, I don't feel that message is worth taking down and reuploading. 🤦🏻♂️ Edit! I was able to get 6000mhz RAM working fine actually. Since filming this video I noticed that the "auto" FCLK was setting to 1733mhz. Once manually setting it to 2000 and 1:1 it worked great. I have no idea why the Gigabyte bios doesn't default to a 1:1 but it's working now

2 vids later "I switched back to Intel and here's why"
-
Intel laying off 15,000 people. For perspective, that's how many employees AMD had total in 2021.
-
Our man Phil still slaying it better and better with the shots and the cuts and the edits. 🔥

My 13900K died around Christmas of 2023, I RMA'd It, sold it and used the funds to purchase a B650, 7800X3D platform and I couldn't be happier; RAM @6400, CL30 is Y Cruncher VST stable and the performance is around 10% higher than that of my 13900K in competitive titles.
-
I miss EVGA.
-
Why is Jay the one guy who goes 0/2 on 6000mhz RAM?? I have gone 6/6 on hitting that speed on builds for people.
-
-
Jay you are looking super healthy. Really happy for you brother.
-
I find it kind of surprising that people are complaining about Jay walking back and forth between AMD and Intel. What would the alternative be, ignoring blatant instability issues that everyone is facing and pretend like they don't exist (on either platform)? I find it refreshing to know a big name youtuber can go "this toy sucks right now, make it better" rather than just acting like everything is golden.

You should make a new World of Warships Intro where Nic stream snipes you to get your attention.

Phil great job on the montage nice job on making switching scenes on bass areas keep doing a good job!!!
-
Still stunning to hear people blame users for Intel processor failures ("not tuning their voltages properly") and not blaming Intel for stagnant architecture and overvolting to destruction to appear competitive. Remember... cults aren't cool, kids!

I had a customer come in with blue screening and the inability to install windows. Sure enough, the 14900k was toast. 8 months old. Intel didn't even reply to his support ticket for days. He gave up and proceeded to order an amd motherboard/cpu. Intel is going to lose so many customers over this.
-
You said ‘but I digress’ so much in this one.. that’s our favorite part, the adhd tangents into something you’re legitimately interested in!!
-
The montage!! That’s what building should look like and sound like
-
"we went with a white crucial because there is no rgb and it will look sick" The end of the video the whole case is glowing like a 70's disco.
-
One thing I learned about the cpu world is brand loyalty is stupid. I just want what works for me. Currently intel maybe amd next. That’s the fun
-
Great video. Love the honest info. When I seen the title I hoped the ram issues had improved, been waiting to try my 6400 kit with expo again.

Well done Phill, that music goes really well with the Tron style colour scheme
